Step 1. Gear Up

Come ready to pick! When you arrive, grab a box, a wagon, a "picking pole" and head out into our orchard!

Step 2. Pick some pears!

Look for the signs directing you to the designated picking areas. Pears grow in many different sizes, but are all equally delicious.

The largest pears are usually found higher in the trees out of reach, So keep an eye on the upper branches!

Step 3. Check out

When you've picked all the pears you want, head on back to the barn. One of our team members will weigh out your fruit and give you a total number for the sale. All pick-your-own pears are sold by the pound according to current market price. All of our scales are certified by the NC Department of Agriculture.

Federal Regulation Issued by the FDA under the Food Safety Modernization Act prohibits certain activities which could lead to the contamination of produce for sale. Please help us comply with these regulations and help us keep our orchard clean. Please do not eat or drink within the orchard and do not bring pets into the orchard rows.

There are designated areas on the property where you can eat, drink, or picnic at, and enjoy your visit with any furry friends you've brought along.
