Is there an admission fee?
Yes. Every customer entering the U-Pick orchard is required to pay the $2 admission fee. When you pay admission, we’ll stamp your hand so you can leave and reenter the orchard during your visit without paying admission again.
How much are U-Pick pears?
U-Pick Pears are $1.50 per pound.
When you've finished picking, bring your pears back to the barn. We'll weigh your fruit and calculate your total based on the weight.
What does “You Pick It, You Pay for It” mean?
Please only remove a pear from the tree if you intend to purchase it.
Once a pear has been picked from the tree, by Federal Law, we cannot put it back or resell it to another customer.
Every pear you pick should go into your box and return to the barn with you to be weighed. Please do not leave picked fruit on the ground or elsewhere in the orchard.
Do I have to pick my own pears?
No. We offer freshly harvested pre-picked pears for customers who would rather skip the picking.
Simply stop by the farm store and choose the amount you'd like to take home.
How much are pre-picked pears?
Half-Bushel Box — $45
A half-bushel box contains approximately 30 pounds of pre-picked pears.
We also offer smaller bagged quantities. Choose the amount you'd like, and we'll weigh your pears at checkout.
Pre-picked varieties and quantities are subject to availability.
Do you provide everything I need to pick pears?
Yes. We provide picking boxes, wagons, and picking poles for customers to use while in the orchard.
Picking poles make it easier to reach pears growing higher in the trees.
What should I wear?
Remember that you're visiting a working farm.
We strongly recommend tennis shoes, boots, or other comfortable closed-toe shoes. The orchard has natural, uneven terrain and may be dusty, muddy, or wet depending on the weather.
On warm days, consider bringing sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, bug spray, and anything else you'll need to be comfortable outdoors.
Do you have U-Pick flowers?
Yes.
Our U-Pick flower field features seasonal favorites including zinnias, cosmos, and sunflowers.
U-Pick Flowers — $15 per souvenir cup
The souvenir cup is included in the price. Cut and pick as many flowers as you can fit into your cup. Flower pruners are provided.
Flower availability depends on weather and field conditions.
Can I take pictures at the farm?
